Far, Far Away

Far Far Away considers the experience of encountering a landscape that feels removed from ordinary life. Made across different places and years, these photographs are less concerned with where I was than with the sensation of being somewhere else entirely.

People, animals, roads, and structures appear small against forests, water, mountains, and open sky. At times they offer a sense of scale; at others, evidence of passage. Weather obscures the view, paths disappear, and horizons remain just out of reach.

The photographs are connected not by geography, but by distance—the space between where we stand and where we imagine we might go.
