Wanderlust
Travel is an act of looking. We leave the familiar in search of something different—a landscape, a culture, an encounter, or simply the feeling of being somewhere else. An exploration of the world that feels foreign.
Wanderlust follows that impulse. Made across countries and continents, these photographs focus on the experience of moving through a place in time rather than the documentation of any particular destination. Tourists gather before monuments and sunsets. Strangers pass through streets and markets. Animals appear across unfamiliar landscapes. Boats, planes, and tuk-tuks transport us rom one place to the next.
Throughout the work, the traveler is both participant and observer: watching, photographing, and occasionally being watched in return. The images consider not only what we find when we leave home, but also the persistent human desire to go, see, and experience the world beyond what we already know.
