After School

I love our afternoons at home.

When we don’t have anything scheduled.

When we aren’t running from school to sports.

Dealing with changing in the car and dinner on the go.

I love coming home.

Playing.

Relaxing.

Exploring.

Enjoying our time together.

Sometimes it’s harder than being on the go.

Life can be more challenging when it’s unscripted.

But, even knowing that, those are my favorite moments.

And I think she likes them too.
