When the Rain Stopped

When the rain finally stopped, she she didn’t even wait for the driveway to dry.
She grabbed her helmut and hopped on her bike.
Pedaling off through the puddles and into the afternoon light.
And the leotard?
No self-respecting four-year old would stop to change her clothes, just because she happened to be wearing a leotard when she wanted to ride her bicycle.
She’s a busy girl.
Places to see and things to do.
Especially after being cooped up inside for a couple days.
It’s a good thing she has those training wheels to help her.
